Three companies sail from Piraeus, in Athens, to Hydra, in the Saronic Islands, about 15 times a day in season between them: Hellenic Seaways, Magic Sea Ferries and Alpha Lines. About five times a day in season, a ferry goes direct and takes 1 to 1½ hours; the others call at Agia Marina (Aegina), Poros or Methana on the way and take 1¼ to 2 hours.
