Three companies sail from Hydra, in the Saronic Islands, to Piraeus, in Athens, about 14 times a day in season between them: Hellenic Seaways, Magic Sea Ferries and Alpha Lines. About six times a day, March to mid-February, a ferry goes direct and takes 1 to 1½ hours; the others call at Agia Marina (Aegina), Poros or Methana on the way and take 1¼ to 2 hours.
