Three companies sail from Spetses, in the Saronic Islands, to Piraeus, in Athens, about 11 times a day in season between them: Hellenic Seaways, Magic Sea Ferries and Alpha Lines. Four times a day, March to mid-February, a ferry calls only at Hydra and takes about 1 hour 45 minutes; the others also call at Agia Marina (Aegina), Poros, Methana or Ermioni on the way and take 1¾ to 3 hours. These are high-speed boats for foot passengers. Some sailings are seasonal.
